Fire and Water Damage Recovery
Damage as a result of a fire or water intrusion can affect the critical operation and patient care within facilities. BMS CAT provides superior restoration and reconstruction services for both the structure of your facility, and the contents inside after fire and water damage.
Mold Assessment and Remediation
BMS CAT is able to provide both mold assessment and Industrial Hygiene services for healthcare facilities. Mold assessment offers both visual inspection and sampling of microbial intrusion. A detailed Scope of Work is assembled based on EPA and AIHA published guidelines for remediation. During the removal phase, our technicians follow strict containment protocols utilizing HEPA-filtration to prevent the spread of spores to unaffected areas.
Indoor Air Quality
We understand that the indoor air environment is critical to healthcare facilities, which is why we offer system evaluations measured in compliance with ASHRAE and NADCA standards. The investigation phase identifies specific areas of concern,
and the initial findings are compiled with recommendations. Air quality sampling is conducted to further address specific air quality issues. BMS CAT’s Project Managers work directly with facility personnel to develop a phased plan for decontamination and corrective services to minimize interruption within the facility.
Bio-medical Equipment and Electronics
While not all areas may be directly affected by a disaster like a fire or flooding, secondary damage may occur to other spaces of a facility. Soot and smoke residue can be highly corrosive to machinery, and high-humidity conditions can adversely impact costly electronics. Our Document & Media Recovery services allow us to restore valuable bio-medical equipment and other electronics.
Records and X-rays
Our Document & Media Restoration services are especially important for healthcare facilities. Preserving documents for business and historical purposes is not only a need, it is often the law. In many cases, retention of records is required for several years. Utilizing freeze-drying via sublimation, we are able to restore patient records and X-rays damaged from a fire or water intrusion. In fact, our freeze-drying chambers can process the largest capacity of documents in the United States.
