Project Profile
Hotel - Flood - New Orleans
This landmark property located in downtown New Orleans suffered damage from Hurricane Katrina. High winds blew out windows in the ballroom causing flooding from rain to the ballroom and the floors below. The facility lost power which caused humidity levels to rise quickly providing ideal conditions for mold growth.
The Avondale Textile Mill was subject to a third party train derailment resulting in a release of approximately 90 tons of chlorine gas. Immediate damage was caused to over 600,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing and production area.
