For Immediate Release:
Dallas/Fort Worth, TX - BMS CAT® and affiliate company Blackmon Mooring have been awarded the TCPN contract for Disaster Restoration and Recovery Services. The contract renewal was awarded based on past service, emergency response capabilities and their attitude toward the importance of TCPN. BMS CAT® has worked closely with TCPN to build member awareness and increase contract use over the past three years. Dedicated staff has also been allocated to concentrate on service and accounts for TCPN members. The original contract was awarded in 2004.
One of the first major projects performed for TCPN was the El Campo ISD. The middle school received extensive flood and water damage from heavy rains over a Thanksgiving weekend. Project managers responded quickly and worked with the district and fellow TCPN vendor, KBR, to return the school to pre-loss condition by January.
Other projects of note performed for TCPN members are; the Decatur ISD fire, a variety of projects for the Fort Worth ISD, Klein ISD mold remediation, Dallas Community College water damage, and several projects with Texas Tech University. During Hurricane Rita, BMS CAT®/Blackmon Mooring worked closely with TCPN members who suffered damage from the storm.
"Our companies have worked very hard to develop the opportunity with TCPN," said Tim Draney, Sr. VP Business Development, BMS CAT®. "We know that this program will grow and we are ready to be a part of that growth," said Draney.
